For the third consecutive year, the Gorge Technology Alliance (GTA) and the Columbia Gorge STEM Hub are teaming up to support competitive robotics in the Columbia Gorge region. United by a shared commitment to equitable STEM education, the two organizations are once again offering mini-grants to robotics teams. These grants aim to enhance access to robotics programs for students, fostering skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The initiative is designed to empower local teams by providing necessary resources, including materials, tools, and mentorship opportunities. This year, the program emphasizes inclusivity, encouraging participation from underrepresented groups in STEM fields. By supporting these robotics teams, the GTA and Columbia Gorge STEM Hub hope to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
Applications for the mini-grants are now open, and interested teams are encouraged to apply promptly. This ongoing partnership reflects a dedication to nurturing talent and promoting educational opportunities within the Columbia Gorge community.
