An employee from the South Dakota Bureau of Information and Technology has been elevated to the role of commissioner, as announced by Governor Larry Rhoden on Thursday. Mark Wixon, who previously held the position of director of agency application support within the bureau, brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
Before joining the state workforce, Wixon dedicated 28 years to Black Hills Energy, where he honed his skills and expertise in technology and operations.
