VICKSBURG, Miss. — At six of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s (ERDC) seven laboratories, 18 teachers are returning to their classrooms with a renewed passion for science and technology after an intensive four-week program. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between education and real-world scientific applications, providing educators with hands-on experiences and insights into the latest research and innovations.
Throughout the program, teachers engaged in a variety of activities, including collaborative projects, laboratory experiments, and discussions with leading scientists and engineers. These experiences not only enhanced their understanding of complex scientific concepts but also equipped them with valuable tools to inspire their students.
