Technology Assistance Workshop Scheduled for February 5 in Lake Placid, NY

Lake Placid, NY — Mercy Care for the Adirondacks is set to host a Technology Assistance Workshop on February 5, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the BOCES Adirondack Educational Center, located at 711 State Rt. 3 in Saranac Lake, NY.

The workshop will be led by Mike Magurk, the Project and Technology Manager at Mercy Care, who will present valuable information on Internet Safety. Participants can expect to learn how to identify fraudulent emails and text messages, recognize various scams targeting technology users, and understand the importance of password hygiene.

In addition to the presentation, attendees will have the chance to receive one-on-one assistance, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to enhance their technology skills and safety awareness.
